Lexus Plans to Debut New Innovations at the Chicago Auto Show

The annual Chicago Auto Show brings exciting announcements from Lexus about various body styles in the luxury lineup. Each year, this annual gathering of automotive industry experts continually brings new innovations in the field, but 2020 is proving to be a special year for the car market. As your Bay Area Lexus dealer, we can't wait to tell you all about the news you can expect from Lexus.

Updates to Lexus Lineup on Display

It's expected that a 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible in a new exterior paint color will be in the spotlight at this year's Chicago Auto Show. Additionally, a Lexus LC 500 customized to support the pediatric cancer foundation Cal's Angels, will also be on display in mid-February. Incorporating gold ribbons (the symbol for childhood cancer) into the design of this striking convertible strives to raise awareness about the disease and encourage in-kind donations.

Other exciting additions to the display include new updates to the Lexus RX and Lexus RXL including new connectivity features such as improved smartphone integration and touchscreen responsiveness. Several standard equipment features on the 2020 Lexus lineup have been upgraded and are now being shown off at this annual auto event.

Also expect around 18 other performance vehicles to be on display at the Chicago Auto Show including the impressive Lexus RC F GT3 show car. This model highlights the heritage of racing embedded in the mission of the Lexus brand and reflected throughout many of the vehicles in the lineup today. The full Lexus RC lineup will be on display, including many track editions of the car, which is an exciting exhibit for Lexus enthusiasts to explore.

The Chicago Auto Show runs from February 8-17 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Tune in from San Rafael to learn about the new innovations in the lineup.
