After seven years with the current architecture, the Lexus RX is getting a major overhaul for 2023. At Lexus of Marin, we’re here to preview the upcoming Lexus RX and go over the highlights of what we expect to see from this new luxury SUV.

Four Powertrains

The base Lexus RX350 comes with a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine delivering 275 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque. That’s quite a punch for a mid-size SUV, and it is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on the configuration you choose. You’ll also have a hybrid drive option with a 2.4-liter engine and electric motors that combine to deliver 246 horsepower through a standard all-wheel drive system.

For those who want a boost in performance, the Lexus RX500h F Sport bolts a turbocharger onto the 2.4-liter engine plus an electric motor for a total of 367 horsepower and the Lexus DirectPower system for intelligent four-wheel drive power that balances handling and control depending on road conditions. And with a plug-in hybrid Lexus RX model, you’ll enjoy fuel-free driving and up to 302 horsepower.

New Styling

The lines of the 2023 Lexus RX are simplified and elegant, giving the new model a modern sense of luxury with a futuristic twist. Angular LED lighting and a wide crosshatched grille will grab attention throughout the Bay Area, with just enough aggression to ensure you stand out from the pack.
