With the
2023 Lexus NX and NX Hybrid lineup, you'll have four levels of performance to
choose from. The standard setup is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine offering
203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, while fuel economy measures at 26
mpg city and 33 mpg city with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive variants offer
25 mpg city and 32 mpg highway, so you won't trade much efficiency for the
addition of all-wheel drive confidence.
Moving up
to the Lexus NX350 gives you a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder setup
sending 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque through an all-wheel drive
system. Luxury focused models give you 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway, while
the F-Sport trim delivers 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, thanks to the
improved throttle response and transmission tuning.
For an
electrified experience, the Lexus NX Hybrid brings us the NX350h, sporting a
2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and electric motor that combine for 239 total
horsepower. Available only as all-wheel drive, you'll get 41 mpg city and 37
mpg on the open road.
Topping the
range, the Lexus NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid is both the most powerful and most
efficient version of the NX you'll find at our Bay Area dealership. Combining
the 2.5-liter four-cylinder with a parallel electric motor gives you a total of
302 horsepower, while 36 mpg combined and 84 MPG-e help keep your fuel budget
in check. And with electric power alone, the new Lexus NX Hybrid can travel up
to 37 miles before you'll kick over to the gasoline engine, plus you can use
any public charging station to top off your battery over lunch or at the
office.
