While the majority of what you know about the Lexus RZ remains the same, there are two new trim levels coming to the lineup for 2025.

While some automakers have gone outside the box for their EV designs, the Lexus RZ fits into a much more traditional package. It still has the signature sharp LED Lexus headlights and hourglass grille shape, though only the lower portion is open for airflow. Meanwhile, a deep curve cuts along the front fender, providing a sweeping sense of athleticism in the new Lexus EV. With an all-electric, all-wheel drive powertrain, the 2025 Lexus RZ has the on-road sophistication and off-road capability you expect from a luxury SUV. It takes just under five seconds for this all-electric powertrain to catapult you to 60 mph, and with twin-motors it makes a total of 308 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque.
Range tops out at 220 miles with the 18-inch wheels, while upscale models with 20-inch rims get just under 200 miles from a full charge. Either way, that's enough range to easily handle daily commuting in the Bay Area with ease. And if more range is what you're after, the new RZ300e is the option for you. By dropping to a front-wheel drive setup, not only is this a more affordable Lexus RZ, but it offers up to 266 miles of range to work with the next time you head to Northgate Mall
The 14-inch central infotainment screen in the Lexus RZ is hard to miss, and it houses a majority of the car's main functions. There are both voice and touch commands you can use to adjust various settings, so you can handle most things without taking your eyes off the road.
